Continuing with my pondering about AP Type Relations, I have made more diagrams:
In the above diagram, there is a sort of satisfying balance achieved within each ring. It’s also pleasing to me that the network of Rectangular Relations forms a triangle and the network of Triangular Relations forms a rectangle.
Note the Duality and Conflict Relations above: Duals are adjacent to each other (across the “gap” between two separate rings) and Conflicts are on opposite ends of the network. For example, Assistance (+) and Regulation (-) are Duals. Regulation (-) and Enhancement (-) are Conflictors.
This one could use improved alignment, but I reckon it’s good enough for now. I tried searching for a 3D mindmapper or graph visualization application, so that I could create a complete Relation map with the Triangular Relations on the 3rd axis of the network depicted directly above. However, I could not find any easily accessible options. The reader can imagine the triangular rings on the horizontal plane that extends towards and away from the viewer of the above image. I would have also rotated the rectangular rings towards and away from the viewer.
