I have made some improvements to my Type Relation Metrics Calculator. Currently, there are three sheets, with the last one being a combined output of the first two. The reference types in grey are for my personal use as a sanity check, as they are all based on LVFE identity (in case you were wondering).
The first sheet focuses on the “Psychosophic” forms of love (Eros, Philia, Semi-Philia, and Agape). These forms correspond to conflictive attitude relations, identical ones, semi-identical ones, and dualistic ones, respectively. I calculate a type’s overall statistics for each form of “love.”
The second sheet is titled “Similarity.” Each statistic combines identical attitude relations with another group, showcasing the similarities between the types. I envision these statistics as facets of life’s journey.
“Similarity” stats: Life’s Journey
The “Lifepath” statistic is derived from the Identical, Semi-Identical, and Ignoring attitude relations. This statistic is correlated with Clubs. I chose this name because the attitude relations involved provide a type with a role, occupation, or skillset. The lifepath represents one’s point of origin.
The “Obstacles” statistic combines Identical relations with Exhaustive and Argumentative relations. This statistic is correlated with the as-yet-unnamed “new grouping” (identity, customary, specificity, and conflict). I named it Obstacles because I believe that the Growing Edge Function and the Insight Functions can be seen as obstacles that the world presents to types along their life journey (at least, that’s how it appears to them). Members of the “new grouping” share similar aspects in those functions. The Growing Edge Function perceives the world as hostile and is overly protective, while the Insight Function is the opposite, being overly receptive and gullible due to its positivity. Obstacles arise throughout one’s life journey, and types that are similar in this statistic share similar obstacles, although they may manage them in different ways.
The “Worldview” statistic combines Identical relations with Resolution and Processing. This is correlated with Sexta relations. I named it worldview because types in the same Sexta share a similar ultimate worldview beneath their differing natures. This is akin to the destination of life’s journey.
Imbalance Stat and More
Additionally, there is an “Imbalance” section that illustrates the degree of tilt in each asymmetrical relation. You may notice that I have devised a formula that accurately determines the levels of imbalance, as described by Zeke. For example, Suffocation relations are actually asymmetrical but completely balanced, whereas Instruction relations are highly imbalanced, just as Zeke describes.
The idea behind these statistics is to provide a reference for understanding the subjective experience of type-relations. I am considering adding more statistics, such as how activating or comfortable a relation feels, among others.
